Tarmac Works was founded in 2014 and we are a team of cars and model cars enthusiasts based in Hong Kong. We are 110% passionate about what we do and love working with like-minded suppliers and brands in a collaborative manner. Fun and excitement are a huge part of what we do and this is reflective on our branding and packaging.
Our main focus is in premium-quality 1:64 scale model cars while we also produce various 1:43 scale models as well.

Our Product Categories
GLOBAL64
Detailed diecast models that serves both as a collectible as well as a car to be played with as the wheels roll properly. In terms of packaging, they either come in a clamshell blister or a paper box.
HOBBY64
Hobby-grade diecast models mostly consisting of race cars and modified cars. Wheels may or may not roll properly as the priority is placed at the authentic ride height. The majority of these come in a display case.
HOBBY64+
HOBBY64 and with an opening front or rear bonnet plus a detailed engine bay.
PARTS64
All cars are more fun with accessories and this is a line of accessories ranging from garage tools to rooftop parts, even a full on pit garage.
TRUCKS64
Introduced in 2023 and kickstarted with a licensing partnership with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation. These are true 1:64 scale trucks that go perfectly with our road cars and race cars.
HOBBY43
Diecast and detailed 1:43 scale models with an affordable price tag.

The Birth Of Tarmac Works
Tarmac Works was founded in 2014, marking the beginning of a passionate journey to create premium, highly detailed scale model cars for collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
2015
Our First Model
Release our first model, the Honda Civic EG6 in 1/18 scale in resin.
2016
Hobby64's First Icon – Honda Civic EG6
Our first 1/64 scale model - Hobby64, also the Honda Civic EG6, made its debut.
2017
Hobby64 X GT Sport: A PlayStation Collaboration
Our debut Honda Civic EG6 in 1/64 scale joined forces with Sony PlayStation’s GT Sport, showcased in a special exhibition that celebrated the fusion of collectible design and virtual racing culture.
2019
Launching Loyalty: The First Tarmac Works Owners Club Exclusive
Tarmac Works Owners Club was first introduce. The membership car RWB 930 Southern Cross with 1,500 units made, was sold out in 15 minutes.
2021
Debut Collaboration: Ferrari 1/64 With IXO Models
Introduced our first 1/64 Ferrari model with IXO models
2022
Racing, Collaboration, And Iconic Livery
Sponsored uno racing with a Tarmac Works x Hello Kitty livery at the Macau GP. also we started to collaborate with Jon Sibal in the same year.

Hello Kitty Hits The Track: Tarmac Works At The Macau GP
For a 2nd year in a row, sponsored Uno Racing with a Tarmac Works x Hello Kitty livery at the Macau GP 2023.
2024
New Faces, New Energy
Uno Racing reaapears at Macau GP, backed by Tarmac Works x Kuromi. Maaya Orido becomes our content partner. Hana Burton becomes our first Brand Ambassador and partner.
