Last weekend (from March 20 to 23, 2026), Tarmac landed at the Cool Car Show in Shenzhen with a surprise! We shipped our very own project car, the iconic LB-KAIDO WORKS Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R, all the way from Hong Kong to share with the massive Chinese car and diecast community.

The legendary Godzilla has been turned up a notch with the full Liberty Walk kit straight from Japan. Our project car hasn’t seen the public light since the unveiling event at Tokyo Auto Salon Hong Kong last December, plus it’s the first of its kind in Mainland China, so it’s naturally drawing awe and admiration from fans across the event! This is also the final appearance of this debut livery so it’s an extra special moment.

Of course we have brought along the latest diecast samples for the model fans to take an exclusive first look at what we have in the works. Including our 1/64 version of the LB-KAIDO WORKS Nissan Skyline R32, be on the lookout for some exciting news in April!

Inital D makes a suprise debut at the Cool Car Show with the sample preview display of Tarmac Cards Initial D Collection Vol.01 30th Anniversary Blaster Box and Hobby Box, this marks the first collectible grade trading cards of the legendary comic series. More to come in the future!

Aside from the exciting samples, fans visiting the event can also get the event special edition model of this time. The 1/64 Ferrari F40 Black Special Edition - ROAD64 in full black on black spec makes fan can't wait to get their hands on it. Being produced in far fewer numbers than our normal F40 models, it was a hot item at the event. Other fans who don’t have a chance to get their hands on the model can stay tuned to our drops in the near future as we have reserved a few pieces for our fans abroad as well! Glad to see the shelfs almost clear out by the last day of the event!

We have also prepared an event exclusive Tarmac Cards Flash pack, with 4 special RWB cards featuring the Cool Car Show logo on them. Fans completed the check-in tasks got a Flash pack and lucky ones found themselves with a Lavender parallel card, serialised to 99 cards each.

On Saturday and Sunday, the excitement continued with card ripping sessions that had fans on the tip of their toes. Everyone enjoyed the thrill, and 4 lucky winners with the rarest cards pulled in each session took home a truly special model car as a prize. (insert more about prize and card records)
