Hong Kong’s very own Matt Solomon is back in the cockpit and pushing the limits. The hometown hero has been showcasing his signature sharp focus and relentless speed, completely dominating the field at his recent racing stint at the Zhuhai International Circuit.

During an action-packed race weekend from 29 –31May, Solomon tackled the race with absolute precision behind the wheel of his striking Mercedes-AMG GT4. The ultimate highlight? Matt secured P1 in Race 2, solidifying his status as one of Hong Kong's top racing talents.

The triumphs at Zhuhai, however, are just a prelude to the main event. Solomon is officially setting his sights on a massive comeback to one of the most punishing and legendary street circuits in the world: the 2026 Macau Grand Prix.

The Return to the Guia Circuit

Macau is the ultimate proving ground, and for Solomon, this marks a monumental comeback. His history with the iconic event runs deep; he first took on the ultra-narrow, barrier-lined Guia Circuit back in 2013 in Formula Masters, later returning to tackle it in Formula 3 in 2015. Now returning to these legendary streets, Solomon will look to harness his extensive single-seater and GT4 experience to conquer the circuit once again.
